It's been another wild & crazy "ride" for the Boulter Bunch these past few months. The Florida Reunion in June was wonderful-just too short! We missed the Hudacks there, but we're so grateful for all of those that WERE there-Thanks to you Floridians for your great hosting!!!!
We came back to lots of preparations for Brandon & Melinda's wedding on August 7.
It was so great to have Grama Sue, Auntie Deb, and Uncle Mike be here for that as well as Melodee with baby Ryan.

It was a wonderful day!! The weather was a little scary for awhile, but then it cleared up and the evening outdoor reception was gorgeous. The newlyweds looked so happy together as they drove off in Mike's lime-green VW bus! They are living in Provo now-Brandon is in his last year of law school and Melinda is working part-time for a Utah County District Court. It's fun to have them close by.The next exciting news that hit us was that Bryan & Lacie are expecting their first child in April! All is well and they are looking forward to finding out whether they're having a girl or boy in a few weeks. Then we got another exciting announcement: Emmalee got engaged to Eric Simons(from Provo) in September and is getting married December 29 here in Utah-WOW! They have been dating since April and just feel that it is right.
In other news, Jules just got back from attending an open house for a grad school in Chicago and will be continuing to research where she wants to go to work on a Masters. Matt is working on a movie that will premiere on 4 screens at a movie theater in our area on December 9. The title of it is "Demon Chicken"-a comedy-horror flick designed mainly for high school and young "adult" audiences. (You can find a trailer for it on YouTube-if you dare to look at it!) Jules is composing the score for it (and has been painted blue for her "role" in it) so that's kind of amusing. Mike and I watch the "comings and goings" and the use of our home, tools, yard, vehicles, trailer, food, and whatever props are needed and just hope that they will make some money off of it!! We are very excited that Mel, Stephen, and the boys will be in Utah for the holidays AND that they are moving back to Texas. (That just seems so much closer than Florida plus with so much family there, the "odds" are better for us to be able to make more trips there!)
As for Mike & me, we're both grateful to have jobs right now. Mike was able to get back to work this summer with a contruction management company and things are looking pretty good right now-long hours & hard labor, but it's great to be employed! I'm still at the LDS Institute at Utah Valley University. I keep getting more & more responsibilities: registrar, secretary to 4 teachers, graduation & transcripts, and now librarian! It's kind of crazy, but again, I'm grateful to have a very secure job in a great work environment.
I look forward to hearing about your wonderful lives and hope that you all will have a fantastic holiday season! Know that our thoughts and prayers and LOVE are with you! The Boulter Bunch
