The Cooper Clan

Howdy from Southern Florida...for the last time.

It was so great to see everyone at the reunion. I only wish we could've stayed longer because we had a wonderful time. Since then, we've had a few visitors and have kept pretty busy ourselves.

In August, Ryan and I flew to Utah for Brandon and Melinda's wedding. I'm sad only half of my little family was able to make it, but am so grateful that I got to be a part of the beautiful day. I'm really excited to get to know Melinda better and love seeing my brother so happy.

Stephen started his last semester in his anesthesia program in August, too!!! It's coming down the end, and he {and all of us} are ready for this stage in our life to be over, so we can move on to bigger and better things. He actually graduates on December 14th and we are moving back to Texas on December 15th, so we have a busy few weeks ahead of us.

We were able to take a much-needed family vacation up to Disney World at the end of September. Since we won't be Florida residents much longer, we had to take advantage our last chance at the discounts. Kyle is at the perfect age to love everything about the place and bring the magic back to the parents, and Ryan was the perfect baby age---eating and sleeping, and just loving being carried around in his sling. We all LOVED our time there and can't wait to go back.

We are really excited about this time of year and all of the holidays. Kyle can't wait to eat "yots and yots" of candy that he'll be getting on Halloween, which is really the first year that he understands the concept of trick-or-treating. We will be taking a road trip to see some of Stephen's family around Thanksgiving, and hopefully enjoying some fall-ish weather. After our big move back to Texas, we'll also be taking a trip up to Utah to spend Christmas and some time into the New Year with my family.

We really can't believe our time in Florida is almost up. There are many things about this place that we have grown to love and will miss deeply, but it's time to get back to Texas and get going with the next chapter of our lives!

Love to all,
Stephen, Melodee, Kyle, & Ryan
