Hi All,
We hope you are having a good summer. This was the first summer in a long time that we didn't need the a/c on until June 1st. It was so nice having doors and windows open, but then the humidity crept up. We had good rains last month which eliminated adding water to the pool weekly.
The vow renewal doings for Kate and Randy turned out to be a really fun time and get together. Fr. Norman made the ceremony special and the reception was one big dance party. There were lots of youngsters there and they had the best time dancing. The "older" group did a great job decorating. Everyone had a good time. We did so enjoy our time with Mare, Larry, Sue and Mike. Time was too short, as usual.
We had a treat recently when the shuttle came back piggy back from CA and decided to taxi down the river turn about where Zimmermans live and up the beach to land. It usually take a northern route and we see it only on TV.
Delbe' and I spent a couple of days in St. Pete helping Sue celebrate her birthday. We hadn't been over to see what they've done inside and out. Sue treated me to a Mother's Day massage at the place she goes to get "unkinked".
Greg got a standing ovation at graduation from everyone in the stands and the other 523 grads. One other Z name but his was last. It was one of the days we had lots of rain, but it was clear long enough to get thru all the diplomas.
We're gearing up for Vacation Bible School next month. Always a fun but busy week. Holy Apostles was barged up the waterways July 1959 and put where it is now. Committees are planning 50th anniversary celebrations for July, August, October and November. Lot of people involved which is a nice surprise. Usually it's the same one.
Stay safe ya'll.
Love,
Delbe' and Mic
